For more than 90 years, Al Rashid has been more than a place of worship. It has been a place people turn to in moments of need, a place where families find support, young people find belonging, and community members step forward to care for one another.
The Al Rashid Care Network builds on that legacy by bringing greater coordination and connection to the care already happening across our community. It connects people, programs, organizations and trusted partners so that support is easier to navigate, gaps are easier to identify, and our collective capacity to care continues to grow.
Our community is growing, and so are the needs within it. Families may be navigating financial hardship, isolation, mental wellness, housing instability, family challenges, safety concerns or simply trying to find the right support at the right time.
At the same time, our community already holds tremendous strength. Across Al Rashid and our partner organizations, there are programs, services, volunteers, professionals and trusted community leaders doing important work every day.
The Al Rashid Care Network exists to connect those strengths. Rather than duplicating services that already exist, we work to strengthen coordination, identify gaps and build partnerships that help people access the right support when they need it.
As the Al Rashid Care Network continues to take shape, its areas of focus are being developed with care, consultation, and partnership. These include:
The Al Rashid Care Network is not starting from scratch. It builds on decades of community care, existing programs, trusted relationships and partnerships already serving individuals and families across our community.
Our work now is to strengthen the connections between them.
We are building the infrastructure needed to improve coordination, create clearer pathways to support, strengthen partnerships and identify where gaps remain. As the Care Network grows, new programs and initiatives will be developed where there is a demonstrated need and where Al Rashid and its partners are well positioned to respond.
This is a long-term commitment to building a stronger, more connected community of care.
