Al-Huffath Academy

Preparing confident, faith-centered leaders for Canada’s future

Al-Huffath Academy is dedicated to strengthening the Muslim community by preparing future generations of leaders who contribute positively to Canadian society. We provide a focused Qur’an memorization (Hifz) environment supported by academic guidance, Islamic character development, and personal growth. Our program nurtures students academically and spiritually, building discipline, confidence, and a strong Canadian Muslim identity.

Students work toward completing the memorization of the entire Qur’an with certification, while gaining the skills and character needed to excel in higher education and future careers.

Mission & Goals

  • Memorize the entire Qur’an with proper Tajweed within approximately two years
  • Build strong Canadian Muslim identities rooted in faith, character, and belonging
  • Develop well-rounded students with discipline, manners, and responsibility
  • Empower students as future leaders within their communities and broader society
  • Strengthen Islamic values to meet modern challenges with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be able to read independently from the Qur’an
  • Have memorized a minimum of one Juz’
  • Provide a reference letter from their current school (on official letterhead)
  • Sign a learning contract between teachers, parents, and students to ensure consistency and commitment

Note: A three-month probation period is required to determine program fit and readiness.

Daily Program Schedule

Time: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • 30 mins: Morning Assembly
  • 2 hours: New Memorization
  • 1. 45 hours: Review
  • 30 mins: Islamic Studies
  • 1.15 hour : Breaks (snack , lunch & praying)
  • 2 hour: Academic support (optional)
  • Friday is a short day / No Academic

Ramadan Timing

10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Days: Monday to Friday
  • Location: Al Rashid Mosque
  • Grades: Grade 3 – Grade 11
  • Duration: September – August

Program Curriculum

  • Al-Arbaʿīn An-Nawawiyyah (40 Hadith of Imam An-Nawawi): memorization and explanation
  • Ash-Shamāʾil (Characteristics of the Prophet ﷺ): reading with explanation
  • Etiquettes of the Bearers of the Qur’an (Ādāb Ḥamalat al-Qurʾān): reading with explanation.
  • Al-Jazariyyah: memorization and explanation

Levels of Al-Huffath Academy

  • Level 1: Complete the Qur’an in 2 years
  • Level 2: Complete the Qur’an in 3-4 years
  • Level 3: Complete the Qur’an in 4-5 years

Payment Options

Registration Fees:
  • 1st child: $6500.00/12 months
  • 2nd child: $6200.00/12 months
  • 3rd child: $6000.00/12 months
