Mixed Use Urban Village

A Community Designed for Living, at Every Stage of Life

This project is more than a mixed-use building. It is a thoughtfully designed urban village, an integrated, multigenerational community rooted in dignity, connection, and Islamic values.

Rather than isolating seniors in quiet, disconnected apartments, this development reimagines aging with purpose. Seniors remain embedded in a vibrant social environment where daily life is shared across generations, faith is practiced collectively, and community is lived, not visited.

At the heart of the village is a shared community hub, featuring space for congregational prayer, iftars, Islamic programming, and gatherings. A second-level community room opens onto a rooftop patio overlooking interior courtyards, creating a natural place for connection, reflection, and belonging.

Designed for Intergenerational Living

The development will include 130+ residential units, offering two- and three-bedroom homes designed for both seniors and families, along with eight two-storey townhomes intended specifically for young families.

The ground level activates daily life through commercial and community-serving spaces, including retail, cafés, food services, and a daycare, all intentionally planned to encourage interaction rather than isolation.

A defining feature of the project is its intergenerational design. Seniors will have opportunities to volunteer within the daycare, sharing reading time, play, and creative activities with children. This exchange nurtures connection, purpose, and mutual care — enriching daily life for both generations.

Health, Movement, and Belonging

Physical and mental well-being are central to the design.

An infinity walking loop winds through the development, supporting fitness, mobility, and mental health. The pathway is intentionally positioned with sightlines into the interior courtyard, allowing residents to walk while remaining visually connected to the life and activity of the community around them.

This design reinforces a simple but powerful idea:
Residents are not living beside one another, they are living together.

A Vision for the Future

This project reflects a deeper understanding of how people thrive in a community, where faith, family, health, and social connection are woven into everyday life.

It is complex in its design, yet simple in its philosophy: People flourish when they feel seen, needed, and connected.
